Bubba Rohel is not your typical Jewish grandmother as her grandson Ben is about to find out. Whilst his mother is baking cakes for the women Zionists in support of Israel, Bubba Rohel is out demonstrating her support for the Palestinians of Gaza and the West Bank. And despite her friendship with the radical Rabbi Shosh, Bubba Rohel makes obvious her dislike of all religions. But when she offers Ben a refuge from his bickering parents, there are strings attached. He finds himself recruited into Bubba's community activities. And then there is the small matter a hunt for the murderer of a local businessman.
